PMD Event 3 pt2

Landing on the freezing snow, Leon quickly spotted the medical tent from across the square. As he began the trek towards it, Hawkrow huffed and began shivering.

“You should’ve stayed in the treehouse,” Leon chided, nodding his head and causing the shivering Starly to wobble. Hawkrow simply crossed his wings around himself and continued to shiver.

As they passed the fountain, Sorbet tilted its head in mild amusement as it watched the pair trudge by. Hawkrow quickly propped a wing up in a salute-like greeting, which earned him a bemused blink and further tilt of the head from the Kyurem.

Upon entering the tent, the extent of the illness was laid before the team in plain sight. Dozens of sick Pokemon were huddled up in blankets; Rescuers, Rogues and Merchants alike. To one side, near the front of the tent, a large group of Pokemon were gathered around a Golduck. He wore large, black rubber gloves and even from where the pair stood, looked an imposing character. This was clearly the doctor Chill had mentioned.

The good doctor currently seemed to be in full flow, holding up a round, red object to the group before him and explaining something. It seemed highly inappropriate to interrupt him.

“Don’t worry, you haven’t missed much,” a quiet voice informed Leon. “He’s just telling us the ingredients we need to gather.”

Looking around, Leon found the owner of the voice; an Oshawott with a red ribbon on his left arm and a peculiarly shaped scalchop.

“Ah, thanks,” Leon whispered back with a grin.

And so the group was briefed on the ingredients needed to make the medicine and where to find them. Looking on the many teams from all the different guilds that had gathered together in harmony for the sake of the village, one couldn’t help but feel touched.
